Project photos are being prepared and will be added when provided.
Did you know you can get a preliminary estimate without waiting for an estimator to drive out to your property? Simply take 1–3 photos of the tree(s) in question and upload them using the form above.
Photo Tips & Tree Records
A good estimate photo shows the whole tree, what sits around it, and any visible defects. Text 1–3 clear photos taken from a few angles to (682) 359-3108 and we will reply with a detailed quote, often within hours. The checklist below comes from International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) guidance on recognizing tree risk.
Fact 01 of 05
According to the ISA tree risk checklist, there are 11 questions to ask. Look for large dead branches, hanging or fallen branches, loose bark, cracks or splits, cavities or rotten wood, mushrooms at the base, recent construction nearby, unusually yellow or small leaves, and signs of topping. Photograph any you find up close.
Fact 02 of 05
According to the ISA, you should photograph your trees every year during the growing season. Before-and-after pictures make insurance claims and tax deductions for losses easier to process. A photo history also helps us see how a defect has changed.
Fact 03 of 05
According to the ISA, in most cases the allowable claim for any one tree or shrub is a maximum of US$500. Check your homeowner's policy for your actual coverage, and have damage appraised as soon as possible after a loss.
Fact 04 of 05
According to the ISA, all trees have the potential to fall, but only a small number actually hit something or someone. The risk depends on what a tree could hit. Include your roof, driveway, fences and power lines in the frame so we can judge clearances and access.
Fact 05 of 05
All of them, not just the obvious damage. According to the ISA, post-storm assessments should include trees that seem undamaged, especially large trees near people or property. Check for 3 warning signs: cracks in trunks or limbs, hanging branches, and soil heaving.
