Local tree conditions
Much of the Fort Worth–Arlington–Burleson corridor sits on the heavy, shrink-swell clays of the Blackland Prairie, while Weatherford and Mineral Wells reach into the sandier Cross Timbers. Clay soils shift as they wet and dry, stressing roots and loosening mature trees—especially after long rains.
Spring supercells, hail and the occasional ice storm are the main threats to DFW canopies. Live oaks, post oaks, pecans and cedar elms dominate older neighborhoods, and fast-growing Bradford pears are prone to splitting. As our home market, this is where our crews work every week, from single-limb roof clearance to crane-assisted removals.
Home base
Our crews work across Tarrant, Johnson, Parker and Palo Pinto counties every week.

Raising and reducing mature canopies that brush shingles, gutters and service lines—the most common request in older DFW subdivisions.

Structural pruning of most shade trees while they are dormant and easy to read. Oaks are best pruned in this window, before oak-wilt season begins.
Avoid pruning live oaks and red oaks when oak wilt spreads most readily; schedule inspections of large trees before spring supercells arrive.
Water deeply, skip heavy pruning in peak heat, and watch for dead limbs on drought-stressed trees over roofs and driveways.
Our home base
Fort Worth is home base, so DFW gets our fastest scheduling. Crews head out from Fort Worth across Tarrant, Johnson, Parker and Palo Pinto counties throughout the week, which means most DFW estimates turn into a scheduled work day quickly—and storm calls get priority.
